I have that jinx...bout 15 years ago i usta get cherry cokes in bottles and one day they disappeared  ..traveled a lot then and would find them at stops along the way..then they disappeared...finally they came back in cans..that was the start..then i love Snyder's jalapeno flavored pretzels..then they disappeared .my sis in Ohio usta send me the pretzels till about a year ago and now the stores up there don't carry them..and on and on with whatever i like.

you sound like my husband. he bought multi-grain topper crackers, loves them. they stopped making them. he had several boxes he'd hoarded...still has one or two boxes left. i said for gods sakes, eat the damn things before they go stale.
