![]() Just back from Belmont after better than looks grass debut from Corybant. Unsettled and unprepared when the gates opened, Camacho and the gelding spotted the field several lengths immediately and then eagerly chased the :21.4 opening quarter. He got within a few lengths of the leaders at the :45.1 half before predictably flattening out midstretch to be 7th of the 12. Winner stopped the clock in 1:09.3 (84 Beyer!). As dappled and good as he looked coming in, Cory figures to be even fitter out of this and will likely run back in 2-3 weeks.
