Default Races from all over 4/13/07

Maybe Friday the 13th will prove lucky for me today. Down $506 for the week. Main goal today is to get even. Good luck to all.

Aqu Race 1

wow 4/5 on the 1A. Track seems to look in ok shape. No sealed track today (well the outside is).

Lets see if we can get off to a good start.

Keeneland race 1

We are going to try a pick 3. They seem to be paying very well.

$1 pick 3 wheel

Leg A - 2-3-4-5-6-7-8
Leg B- All (7)
Leg C - 1-2-3-7-8

$245

No offense, but I can tell why you're down $506 for the week with the way you structure your bets. . . $245 for $1 pk3s is absolutely insane. . .

Fair statement and I agee. But let me try to defend myself.

$2 Pick 3 3-1-6 (3 correct) 10,521.80
$2 Pick 3 1-7-12 (3 correct) 267.60
$2 Pick 3 8-7-3 (3 correct) 86.60
$2 Pick 3 2-8-3 (3 correct) 1,766.00

These are the pick 3 payoffs so far for the first 3 races at Keeneland during this meet. I am taking a flyer here. I agree that a pick 3 shouldnt be more than $27. But in this case I think i have a chance at a decent price.

Oh what an exciting race. I thought the 4 horse was home cleared with the way the jock was looking under his arms. This kind of race is what makes horse racing so exciting.

Keeneland Race 3

Man what a nice looking group of 2 year olds. Ward is back again with the 1A and Bejarano is on board again. Can Ward make it 3 for 3 in the two year old races at Keeneland? I think this Pletcher horse looks fantastic. The Empire Maker horse looks good but I think she will be better at longer distances.

$20 to win on the 8 horse.

$1 trifecta box 1-2-3-7-8 (twice)

Does this mean the Empire Maker finished 3rd? Some of us are sorta paying attention to work and can't check numbers.

I am most definitely NOT paying attention to work today. It is my day to goo goo my horses!

Empire Maker filly took NO money (17-1) and finished 2nd to last I think.

No---the Empire Maker was the 4 horse who I believed finish last or 2nd to last. The Silver Charm horse won.
