Default Hollywood Tonight - 6/8

I absolutely love a horse in the 2nd race. the 1A, Pink Polkadots or whatever the name is. Ran her top off the layoff and stretchs out to what is most likely a prefered distance. Gets a hot jock and has number power. While I am afraid of the Forest Camp horse, I still think Pink gets it done at a respectable number.

Single in all possible tickets, early pick three and four

a lot of cheap races for Friday night @ the 'Wood

2 things stick out

R1) #8 Dr. Mohrbacher (ML 3-1): this was a 300K purchase for the Reddam/O'Neill team, the horse has shown solid works EVERY time out, has not missed much time since entering training. Looks to be a late developing gelding and has not had 1 clunker workout. So my question is, you pay 300K for a horse and on paper it looks as though this horse would be 1st or 2nd choice in a MSW race much less a MD40K. Is this Reddam's idea of charity or is something wrong with this horse that we just can't see on paper?

R6) # 11 No Name Just Game (ML 7-2): Greg Gilchrist trained...... need i say more? Gilchrist has 17 winners from 44 starters this year. This horse is coming off a Sept. layoff and has been working solidly since coming to the Gilchrist barn. Don't imagine there will be much value and post position doesn't help, but one to watch for

I couldn't agree more about the horse in the first, makes zero sense if you ask me......Thank you on that horse in the 6th, I haven't gotten there yet and not gonna get ****ed by that guy again shipping up...appreciate it

Edit: I am tossing the 11. There is NO REASON for that horse to drop into a 16k claimer unless he is hurt, horse has stakes caliber numbers and shows up for 16k, no thank you

Default Alright folks

I see an opportunity. I usually not a fan of going nuts (big $1 tickets, would rather punch a $6 combo 20 times) but I really like this one horse so we are going to take a flyer

1: 1,2,4,7
2: 1
3: 1,3,7,8,10
4: 5,7,11

P4 = $60
P3 = $20 (1 through 3)

I am going to play the P4 twice and the P3 (1-3) for $9

5: 1,7
6: 2,7,8,10
7: 1,2,5
8: 5,12

This P4 going to play 1 time. $48

Race 2

$500 WP 1

Going up there in about an hour to make the wagers, come on, lay on the couch and either look at $1328 in losing tickets, or about 4k....HOLLA

Scav:

That is one serious wager. What does Pink look like on the sheets vs. the main competitors in Race 2. Best of Luck,,,,

Worth that type of wager. And quite honestly, the actual 1 isn't 'too' bad either......Just got back, dropped those wagers down(I did the wrong math, and it cost me a total of $1388 (I played that pick three for another $2 for a total of $11) and now watching TVG and tearing apart Belmont/Arlington/Churchill for tomorrow. Tomorrow is either going to be awful fun or awful stressful

Told myself to stay away because I haven't cashed a ticket on a Friday at Holly all meet, but I'm bored watching the Devil Rays beat up the Marlins (Edit: Marlins are winning now just as I get knocked out of the pick 4, time to regroup for tomorrow) so here goes:

R1 - 1,4,8 = $8.00
R2 - 2,8 = $8.80
R3 - 1,8,10 Sh1t
R4 - 5,7,11

$54

Lets just hope I can salvage 5/2 on the 1 in this race, then I'll be happy, win or lose

When it rains it pours... So much for pick4.

Try couple pick3's
R2 - 1,8
R3 - 1,6,7,8,10
R4 - 7.11
$20

R2 - 1
R3 - 1,3,6,7,10
R4 - 5,7,8,11
$20
