Default Dutrow in the news

I cannot find the article online but DRF reports today the 2 of Dutrow's assistants have been find for having contact with Rick during one of his suspensions a few years back. Also, R & W investigated the strange incedents leading up to Wild Desert's Queen's Plate win. At the time I was told by a friend who works at the Big A that WD trained at AQU for the Plate. Oddly, he showed no works there but one rather slow work at Monmouth. According to R&W, the barn is being fined for a false report of a work at MON and for training at AQU before training hours.

If I'm not mistaken, the horse paid boxcars because it appeared that he had only one slow work, at MON before a 10f Canadian Classic.

I've always followed Wild Desert and he still doesn't work in a normal pattern.

I hate seeing a redboard wasted on an $8.00 horse. No self-respecting redboarder should post anything under a winning 10-1. I can only hope and trust he also had the cold exacta.

A 2 1/2 year old 3 to 1 redboard has to qualify for some type of recognition.
By the way, I absolutely crushed Broad Brush in the PA Derby at 1 to 10.

I guess it qualifies. Sadly when I was that age there was no internet. I had to satisfy that need by consuming copious amounts of pre-school construction paste. I'm pretty sure I took down most of the trifecta pool in the Broad Brush race.

I wasn't commenting on my handicapping...from what I remember Wild Desert was the only horse that even raced in a grade 1 before which made him an obvious choice.

That would be incorrect.
