Default Talkin' Horses this week

Hey, guys; here's the link to this week's Talkin' Horses

http://www.bloodhorse.com/talkinhorses/TM072606.asp

It's with some of the editors of "Racing's Top 100 Moments," or whatever the book is called. I list it because there's a link in the article to download the text of a few of the moments and #70 (Sunday Silence-Easy Goer Preakness) has the most heartstopping photo of the two of them. The article refers to Pat Day tilting Easy Goer's head to the right to get him to make eye contact with Sunday Silence, and in the photo his head is slightly to the right, so I wonder if it captured that moment as it happened. What a picture. I want it for my wall.

Sunday Silence was and is my favorite of the two (it was the first Triple Crown season I remember following ardently, and it is still my favorite year), but the picture reminds me again of what a gorgeous, gorgeous horse Easy Goer was. Go check it out!

genuine, that photo is on my desktop on my computer. no pic ever can better show the heart and will of these horses than those two matching strides and eyeballs.

go to bloodhorse and follow the links to their pics/books for sale, you can buy it there as well as some other sites...

Thanks, Danzig; I will absolutely follow those links and get a copy.

And yes, Dr. Fager, downloading #7 is next on my to-do list.

War Emblem,
Thanks for the replay.
I watched it twice. Seems that they both looked each other in the eye at different parts of the stretch run.
Total guts! A race to remember.
Such a nice move!
