Default Seattle's Belmont Stakes Day Pk4

race 8--Traveling Man and Arch Traveler, one of the 2 best horses in the field should take it.

race 9--Gypsys Warning, Aviate, Fantasia. I think I have this one shored up too. Once CS Silk throws in the towel, I think Gypsys Warning will get first run on on them and could go on to hold off Aviate or Fantasia.

race 10-- Al Khali, Viscount Nelson, Prince Will I am. Al Khali has run his best races at Belmont at this distance and I thought was worth putting in the play. Viscount Nelson is talented and all class. First time lasix and his last race was his best. Prince WIll I am, should be charging late after running into a super paceless race at Churchill last out.
I left off Gio Ponti because he probably isnt the same horse and who knows how much the trip to Dubai took out of him.

The Belmont---Master of Hounds, was my Derby pick and ran well. Dont like that he had to come back from Ireland to run here, but I hope he will finally run his absolute best race. If Gomez is able to cover up on him and he looks comfortable, I think it will be over for the rest of the field. Santiva, another one who ran well late in the Derby, and someone who we probably havent seen the best of, usually closers dont win the Belmont but hope hes running late. Nero ran great for most of the Derby, but was probably too close to the pace, Nakatani should just allow him to settle as well and hopefully he will come running when its time to go.

I give up, all the throwouts have won. Justin Philip and CS Silk. Very very frustrating day. I tried to beat the vulnerable favorites in the early races of Belmont thinking these stakes horses would run true to form, but its been a mixed bag and all those favorites to play against in the first few races won, now all the favorites in the money races are flopping badly. Only favorite I liked was in the third with Agent Osage

I feel your pain - my handicapping has been OK - the wagering, not so much....time to start over!
