![]() Kentucky Downs - Do not go by the morning line odds as they are often off base (a la Tampa Bay Downs). There are horses coming from all over the place to a unique turf course to say the least. It has to be a nightmare to make the morning line at Kentucky Downs. It's been one of my favorite venues to wager despite the crazy camera angles and stretch that goes on forever.
R5 - Clm 10k (Turf 6.5F) #11 Royal Marque (12-1) - Worth a shot for top honors off recent form. #7 Queen Gracie (10-1) - Clearly better on turf. 4TH #9 Adelina Rose (3-1) - If she returns to her winter form, she'll be tough. R6 - Alw 27k N1X (Turf 8F) #7 Jantastic Holiday (12-1) - Counting on her to take to the lawn. Bobblehead rides. #10 Hula (2-1) - Logical contender for sharp barn. 3RD #1 Quick Return (8-1) - Cut back will help expensive filly. R7 - OC 45k/N2X (Turf 8F) #8 Deputy Darling (8-5) - Barn solid with these types of layoffs. #7 Fantastique (12-1) - Gets the bug boy and owns win on this course. WON $14.20 #3 Suz Slew (8-1) - Consistent sort switches back to the turf. #1 Just Memories (12-1) - Last two races at CD make her a must use underneath. 2ND R8 - MSW 25k (Turf 6F) #10 Dancing Compass (7-2) - The extra half furlong should do the trick. 3RD #3 Witchy One (8-5) - No secret what the game plan will be. WON $4.20 #12 Silver Tequila (10-1) - Just needs to work out a trip. 4TH PK4 - 4 7 9 11 / 1 7 9 10 / 7 8 / 3 10 = $32 ($.50 play) Good Racing Luck
