Titan,
Thanks for this. Dang! I was so high on Corinthian last year, as was Jim J.
That injury couldn't have come at a worse time... and the recovery took so much patience.
Good for Corinthian!!! And good for Jim J.
Good all around!
Thanks for sharing.

Default It sounded like......

Quite a performance! I was listening to it on ATRAB, sounded like when Jazil came to him, JJ said go, and he was gone goodbye! Jerkens really had him tuned up for his return. Coming off that kinda layoff, you'd have thought he needed one. Impressive!

Default On track

I was paddocking for the race today and Corinthian was his usual self, acting up a storm in the stall, but they got him calmed down. OTOH, Jazil is a little guy and very unimpressive looking, very calm. I went back up to my seat and who is now seated in front of me, but Kiaran M. . Two elderly ladies who had never been to the track were asking him who they should bet. LOL.
I asked him if he was pointing Jazil for the GPH stakes and he said maybe, depends on the race. Everyone by now saw the Corinthian power on replay, but one thought came to mind during the race. Jazil was his usual lagging self, then Jara put him more into the race down the backside, earlier than I thought he would, and I wondered whether this was a workout within the race for Jazil. I'd expect a bigger close in his next start, but I was very unimpressed with him today.

The only horse out for an in rrace workout was Corinthian. He barely got to stretch his legs against those plugs

Yeah but Jazil and Cor. had 95% of the show money bet on them.

That is not the type of race Jazil needs. The pace was not hot enough and he moved way too early. The horse is game but needs to be set up.
