Default What happens when *I* go to the track....

I come home with about a $3.00 in winnings, a slight buzz and..... a 4 yr. old filly!! I'm sucha sucker for a nice horsie! I'm going to retrain her for a trail and/or dressage horse. At some point I will probably breed her. She is by Straight Man out of a Silver Deputy mare. Got burned out on the track. You should have seen her running around my pasture. She sure looks FAST to me!! I have to go put her in a stall now, but just wanted to share my news with fellow racehorse fans.

Suzanne(I must've lost my mind!!)

AWESOME! CONGRATS on your purchase. Post some pics when you get a chance. I am sure we would all love to see her!

What track was she racing at? Did you claim her or purchase her?

If I am remembering correctly, he was a decent and very nice race horse. Didn't he have an awesome son or daughter too? One that was pretty famous? Am I thinking of the correct horse?
