lol...If Gillick ever wakes up from DreamLand and realize he needs middle relief, this team could be dangerous...Until then, we have glorified beer guts like Mesa and Alfonseca. The latter of which I would carry on my back to Philly International Airport.

I can't believe you would even consider this wager. The White Sox suck this year. If I could bet someone that they would finish last, meaning that Kansas City is above them, I would consider it, heavily.

LOL now youre getting carried away. the last couple of weeks have broken my heart concerning my southsidaz but im definately not giving up. the starting pitching has been there all year with buehrle, garland, vasquez and contreras. the problems have obviously been offense and the bullpen. you look@the sox lineup on paper and you say no way are they last. well we definately need pods back desperately as hes the catalyst at the top of the order! these no name bums in the bullpen definately arent cutting it, we need to acquire some arms there now if were to have any chance of coming back. a return by podsednik in the immediate future and the bullpen straightened out and well be ok

lol youre 1 to talk, your cubbies cant even their sorry a$$ division after poorly spending all that money.

youre absolutely right chuck, toughest division in baseball! but definately notta outta the rhealm of possibility as long as pods gets back soon which hes supposed 2. we lost crede probaly for the year but young fields has some nice leather he can easily be placed at the bottom of the order but again the key is podsednik. as far as the pen goes i remember how many people literally wanted to run marte outta town here, lol i dont even know if hes still playing but id take his talent over most of those guys we have now in the pen.

although not speedy erstad was a decent replacement at the top but hes out too, if you dont have that guy at the top youre not gonna score runs. lol maybe time to get willie harris back who i was high on be4 and see is playin with ATL

Injuries have killed the Sox. posednk and Crede have missed a lot of time.Thome too. Dye playing like he is hurting. The pen is shaky but that is the undoing of many teams. Middle relievers went for big bucks in the off season and the guys who are good just are too valuable for teams to trade. Tough year to start so slow because the division is very tough. Looking at the stats basically the entire starting roster is having a down year. There is not one guy who is hitting up to their own standard. Pretty scary.
