Default Easy Money

Watching the movie Easy Money with Rodney Dangerfield.

I never get tired of the horse racing scene at the beginning of the movie where they all had 50 bucks on a 40-1 shot in a fixed race. The pacer is way ahead turning for home and the driver starts to pull hard on the reins and then puts his feet on the ground to stiff the long shot.

Joe Pesci jumps the fence and pulls the driver out of the sulky and beats the living crap out of him!

Supposedly takes place at a NY-NJ track but it was filmed in Pompano in FLA!.

We miss ya Rodney...Hey...nothing personal!

Yes -- filmed at Pompano Park.

Here's a trivia question -- who was the driver that Pesci tackled and pulled from the sulky?

Eric

Easy Money was great, but my favorite is Let It Ride with Richard Dreyfus. That was the perfect horse racing enthusiast movie.

No idea...but the way he ran away from Pesci he wasn't too athletic?

Was it Cat Manzi? I swear I saw him do that move at the Meadowlands one night.

I haven't seen the movie in years, but I think it was one of the Popfinger brothers, William or Frank?
