Once upon a time in a faraway land lived a horse.He was an orphan.Thus he had no name.Then he found a family that adopted him and henceforth he was not relagated to live outside in the rain.Patrick i hope this clears up your situation of what the song means and if i can be of anymore assistance to you i'm just a plethora of information.

Awesome on more levels than I can describe......For some reason if stirs emotion's associated with loss and emptiness.
