The Super Bowl between the 49ers & Chargers it was close, nineteen and half I believe.

What was the line a couple years ago when the Dolphins beat the Patriots in 2004? Had to be close to 20. Patriots were 12-1 going in and the Dolphins were 2-11.


Edit - I can't find the line but looks like it was only like 10.

I think it was 16 or 16 1/2 but we get the point.

The NFL is moving away from parity. Two teams much better than the others and several dreadfully horrible teams; not to mention one conference is light years better than the other. Here's my top 10:

With Chambers added to address the Chargers biggest weakness I'd probably put them at #3 right now if we were basing it on chances going forward. Definitely agree though that there are six in the AFC before you should even consider an NFC team.

Considering the touchdown they scored on 4th down at the end of the game Sunday, I don't think you have to worry about Bellicheck's not wanting to run up the score.

stephen a smith commented on the accusations that the pats ran up the score at dallas. i agreed with what he said. that if dallas just wanted the game over, they shouldn't have called time out with 1 1/2 minutes left for one...more to the point, you don't want the other team to score--don't let them!
also enjoyed his take on the whole popcorn thing. funny stuff.

There was over 10 minutes left in that game when that happened! And whoever was covering Moss on the play had perfect coverage.
