Steve,
You was right about Stidham's horse Sandburr. He looked pretty good winnning the Star of Texas. Steve Asmussen made my night, got to talk to him and he let my wife take a picture of him with her cell phone. I don't know much about him but he seems to be a very classy individual he was a blast to talk with. From what it looks like the jockey that went down in one of the races is going to be ok. If you see a replay of the spill, it looks like he hit the ground very hard. I have to congraduate the staff at Sam Houston, they know how to put on a great show. |
