1/12 Gulfstream
Race 1: #5 Centerport Baby might be worth a shot at 8-1, ran a good one a while back at Spa.
Race 2: #8 High Appeal, last was deceptively good, 10-1 ML is appealing. Race 3: Awful race, slight edge to #7 MC for Life. Race 4: Very competitive, tough to take 5-2 on #2 Putnam County, #7 Shortcake is more enticing at 6-1 ML. Race 5: Standout of the day (IMO) is #6 Kin to the Wind, her last 3 are just better than these. Using #5 Correntina underneath at a price. Race 6: Don't like the #1 Benson entry or #10 Pretty Dinner, so playing against them and using #6 Classy Gray, #7 Awesome Frolic, and the 2 firsters, #8 and #9. Race 7: Another very good race, slight edge to #6 Goldsville. Also using #3 Groomedforvictory, #8 Old ninety eight, #9 Bordeaux Bandit and #10 Juicy Point. Race 8: Turf allowance, #1 Operation Red Dawn looks tough from the rail. #8 Love Conquers is in career best form now, #4 Drilling for oil is solid. Longshot #12 Finance Minister (20-1 ML) has a good shot to hit the board. Race 9: Featured Old Hat Stakes, have to start with #5 Lovely Isle, a repeat of last runs away with this. Using #1 Elusive Lady, #6 Throbbin Heart, and #10 Game Face. Race 10: #7 Break for Diamonds need only repeat last to stand out in this less than stellar field. #11 Catch Fire has a couple of races that fit with these. #10 Wondera is solid, but unspecatular, and #3 Stormtothewire could soup up the exotics at a price. Pick 4 (races 7-10) 3,6,8,9 1,8,12 1,5,6,10 7,11 Good luck to all! Last edited by golfer : 01-12-2008 at 08:33 AM. |
