Most Impressive in Dubai?
Who do you think has been the most impressive horse this carnival. For me, it has to be Jalil, cant believe Im saying it... He has looked very very good, especially today. 9.7Million well spent ;-)

From what I've seen, and I haven't been paying full attention by any means, Mourilyan has impressed me as a really progressive colt who should have no trouble making an impact outside of handicap company. Once again had more in hand than the bare result suggests last night having allowed the runner-up first run and he's one I'll be keeping on the right side of.
Given his pedigree and how well he's taken to dirt, it makes you wonder what they were doing pi**ing about with Jalil on grass for so long!!

I didn't see Jalil win, but as Harry said, there was always a chance (given his pedigree) he'd be much better on dirt. I'm not sure if that race was the greatest, but like I say, I'm yet to watch a replay.
From the races I have seen, Happy Boy was easily the most impressive in what looked like an okay race at the time. We will have to see how good he becomes. I doubt he'll be up to DWC class, but he should pick up some good races over the next year, wherever he ends up.
