Default Autism Awareness: Exits ECR with fracture

Appears that Autism Awareness has exited the El Camino Real Derby with a fracture and will be sidelined an estimated 4 months..

More as we get it..

It's a tough game. Sucks for the connections.

There was his 5 minutes of fame. Too bad, was looking forward to seeing if he could beat War Pass.

I really don't see the need for sarcasm. The horse is injured. that's nothing to be glib about.

Oh wev. It's not like she said, "HAHA STUPID HORSE ****ED HIS LEG UP! YUK YUK YUK."

A run-of-the-mill snide comment about a no-hope horse running into War Pass is no less warranted in this case than in any other just because the horse has a name that makes you feel warm inside.

Like many, I am sorry to hear that this horse got hurt. I like hearing these stories. It was a nice, humanistic story and regardless of how far he went he might have been the pull at your heartstrings story this year. First, it's a story about a "cause" and people like that. Second, people like these kinds of stories. It's good for the sport and for the business.

For those who don't like, think it's BS, find fault, make others out to be wrong, etc. -- those people are better off marinating in their own negativity. Like I've always said, it says more about the author than it does about the subject.

Eric
