![]() Chuck, Have you seen the close-up picture of Big Brown's quarter crack? If you go to drf.com, there is a close-up of it. Then if you click on the article, the picture is much bigger so you can see it even better.
What do you think? How bad does it look in your opinion? How concerned would you be about it if it was your horse? |

![]() It isnt pretty. But that being said they have been cutting and working on it. The thing I think is interesting is the decision to leave it open and patch on Friday. The logic they have been using is sound but they do seem to be a little worried that there is more underneath which can be a problem. The "natural healing" thing is just talk for the press because there will be very little to no "healing" in a few days but it may be draining which would work in trying to keep an abcess from building up.
