Default Lake Delton Wisconsin

With almost a foot of rain hitting the area over the weekend in a very short time check this story out. This is a very popular summer vacation area in WI.

A little water in my basement. Nothing major. We did have to move some horses out of my brother in laws pasture. A lot of the rivers are over flowing and there is probably more to come.

Ho Chunk will always survive. The indians won't let that place go under water.

It doesn't look like it is going to stop.

Major stories from Ho-Chunk, when I had "the Scav" it has about 96,000 miles on it, and probably about 35,000 came from Ho-Chunk trips. I haven't been in years but I have heard that the place is absolutely HUGE now. I used to go when it was $2 blackjack and there were 10 tables......

Yeah, they have everything now. Craps, roulette, poker, blackjack, fine dining, even a OTB. Did real well last time I was there last year. All the indian casinos in WI are huge now. Potowatomi is undergoing a huge expansion and Oneida is huge now in GB. I used to sneak into Oneida as a 16 yr old playing BJ on the weekends when it was just 10 tables and a Bingo hall.

Yep....We went to say farewell to Ho-Chunk when they were changing the age to 21, we were 19 at the time, so we go there, and they are like "YOU ARE NOT OF AGE"

So we are all pissed and we wanted to gamble so what do we do, we go to a gas station and get a map, my buddy says he knows of a casino in Minnesota, and drive all the way there, Red Wing Minnesota, and aboslutely smoked them for a total of like 8k between 4 of us, it was a pretty wild ordeal.

They have an OTB now, that has to be real interesting? Is it nice or just a bunch of TVs with a couple tellers and machines?
