The South Beach Diet is the best...but then again I'm a crazy health freak so eating that healthy doesn't bother me.

I've heard that the Mediterranean Diet is good and easy to follow...what's a "tad" to you?

I'm about 6'2 and weigh 235. Overweight or not there isn't a chance in hell that I will diet. I would prefer to be 210, but whatever.

Considering that you can run to the Schenectady OTB to place a bet and be back home at your computer in less than 10 seconds I thought you'd be built more like a sprinter.

IT SAYS, fasting, consuming waters and juices for 21 days totally resets your body and it will be a lot easier to lose weight

do you know for a fact that it does not work, or is it just your opinion.
because from reading it, it does kinda make sense the best way to lose weight and reset your system, would be not to eat anything. common sense says putting no food in, would make it very easy to lose weight

You need calories to burn calories. . . and your body needs certain nutrients that you can't get from juice and water. Juice isn't really that good for you anyways.

Fasting/starving is the worst way to try to lose weight. The body senses that no food is coming in and then retains everything. I have always heard that you should eat more smaller meals a day. At 6'1" 235 you do not need a life altering diet anyway. Just cut down on the bread and after dinner sweets. Watch the booze (if you drink). Try to go for a walk after dinner a couple times a week, you should be fine. If you are looking to drop a big amount, I would suggest you go see a nutrionist and he/she will set you up with a diet that will fit you. A guy I work with went to one and he has dropped over 50lbs.
