Default Student Loans advice

What is a good place to look for a private student loan. My parents help me some and cosigned a loan with me last school year, but this year I am on my own and going to struggle to pay my tuition. Without a cosigner and already being in debt to a student loan, I have a feeling being approved will be tough. Any advice on what to do and where to loook is appreciated.

I've applied over and over again for financial aid but I guess the fact that I'm white and middle class means I need no help and have thousands of dollars to hand over to them

If you were still in high school
getting ready to go to college there
are plenty of places to get fin. aid.

I dont know enough about the loans though.

And the fin. aid is much harder to come by for
Caucasians. Part of a college/University rating
involves a student diversity component. So good students
that are considered minorities are valued by the institutions.

Best to talk to a financial advisor at school. Each state has different rules. In SC, they have loans that students can sign for limited amounts (should cover tuition)

There are also loans where if your parents will cosign, they are taken off the loan after you have worked for a year. (Campusdoor.com)

As for race, that's not the case. It's plight against the middle class. We're to rich for special financial aid but too poor to really be able to afford school so I have to get loans for my son.

Fin. aid from most universities does depend on ethnicity.
Loans I would not know about as we did not apply for one for my daughter.

I got a huge story on this one (I will spare the board).

Would be a sad, bizarre tale of woe.

She did.
And a higher SAT than friends of ethnicity.
The aid did not follow that did follow them.
An academic scholarship
(not associated with the school), but no aid
from the school.

And the friend's parents make a lot more money
than this idiot (me).

I do understand the need for diversity however.
Its a tough issue.
