Off topic a bit...

Tommy's Luck, winner of the nightcap yesterday at Del Mar looked like a steal at 22.5k. He was claimed by Mullins for Robert D. Bone. He was ridden out, but he sure looked like a bargain covering 6 panels in 1:09.75.

Does anyone know how many potential claimers tried to get him?

They are always running that horse for what appears a lower tag than he's worth. He must look like he's gunna break anytime, and they don't want to get stuck. Didn't he romp the 1st time that Melody Conroy trainer ran him for a tag? Must have an ugly tendon, or something. People keep wanting to cash in their chips, and go.
