Default Travers

Looks like I am going to be able to make the trip up for the Travers. Can you bring bag chiars in to the back yard?

Get there early for a good spot (like 7am) or just go where the "masses" go, by the bar-b-q!

I will head over the barbecue and hope to meet some DT members. I will not make it by 7 coming from Philly.

Yeah, that Saturday morning is a disaster. If you have a bag chair and are not looking to secure a picnic table, you should be good to go.

For our group that's the toughest part of the week - trying to stay half sober Friday night knowing we have to get up at 5AM to get in line next day for a few tables. THEN, having to run through the gates when they open and trying to stiff arm the rest of the crowd as you sprint to tables.

You can bring anything but glass bottles and semi-automatic weapons.

Cool Travers Week

I'm coming to vacation in Sartoga Springs the week of August 19th till August 26th. Looking forward to meeting other Derby Trail peeps. I'm an "At the Races" junkie and listen everyday, will be hangin at the Barbecue eating Lobster rolls and drinking cold ones.

Yeah, I've started looking at the 10-day forecast already. I'm sick, what can I tell you.

I just did the same thing this morning. I guess that makes me sick, too.
