Default Ted Stevens

I cant wait to see if Alaska puts
this guy back in the Senate.

I would like to know how Scuds would classify
this state if Stevens wins. Cant be he-haw... ex confederate
trash...

Tuesday should be the most interesting set of elections
in my lifetime. Al Franken running in Minnesota? Against
a wrestler.

What a country...

Yes, people have been paid to register people. Some cheated on their job. They made up some registrations instead of doing their job (and actually registering real people.) When people aren't paid much, the chance is obviously greater that they aren't gunna care about the results. I haven't heard that an agency has intentionally done this. Someone still has to show up with proper i.d., and vote. It's like sending in 5 entries to a contest that you're only allowed to enter once. If you win, you have to have the i.d. of the fake entry that won.

i thought i read that stevens opponent was doing well in the polls. i can't believe folks would be dumb enough to vote the guy back in tho, he won't be staying as the senate will be having an ethics hearing, and he'll be booted out.
of course, that would be better for the rep party there if he did win re-election, as their gov would name someone to fill out the term after stevens got expelled.
