That's some cutback, going from a downhill 6.5f to a flat 6f. I would tend to disagree with her being able to stay close, she's been no closer than 3 or 4 lengths early in her last 3, and she was absolutely dusted by loose-on-the-lead Synnin and Grinnin at Del Mar (going only 5f, but the winner was extending her lead through the stretch). Perhaps they want her a bit more prominent early.
Otherwise, I suppose the ridiculous head tossing in her latest, her consecutive hanging efforts after big moves in her last pair, and her overall penchant for minor awards are valid enough reasons to put the blinkers on.
