Default Noberto Arroyo Jr off all mounts; NY honors NJ suspension

This troubled young man continues to be somewhat enigma?? Anybody know why he's off all mounts today just prior to the first at the big A. He's not an A level jock but it has to hurt the mounts he had today when he seems to bail on essentially minutes notice. I was just curious if he had a relapse issue or did he get disciplined for something else??

If he's out it's a shame, he's not an A rider but he's a damn good rider on the inner from what I have seen of him.

Arroyo arrived at the track today and was in the Jock's Room, but was taken off mounts by the Stewards.

Details of the motivation for this have not been made public or clear, but are alleged to be related to something that happened while Arroyo was riding in New Jersey during the recently concluded Meadowlands meet.

Wasn't he involved with a recent act of abuse of some kind with a horse he clocked in the head or something. I remember thinking that he got a hand slap compared to what Jeremy Rose had to deal with or is my senility imagining this whole thing.

I think the incident you are thinking of involved a pool stick and not a horse.

That pool cue story is old enough to vote...

Docicu is correct that Arroyo did have a nose whipping infraction recently. This appears to something else.
