Default Gulfstream Friday (1/9)

Is Excess Capital finally gonna win a race? Another nice turf route in the feature. Eminently playable card, IMO. Any thoughts?

By the way, how does Gulfstream get away with not having an early pick four? What kind of bush league nonsense is that?

And what about Barclay Tagg's firster?

Yeah, Tagg's firster is worth a look, they paid 70 times the stud fee to get him. My issue is that it's taken so long to get him in a race. Horses that debut at four (granted it's a young four) generally don't turn out to be anything special.

The Chief's horse is interesting to me as well. I like the cutback to six panels and hopefully Lezcano will let him settle and make one run. Interesting that he got hammered in his debut, as papa Jerkens generally doesn't send out chalks first out.

Normally I'm against horses like Excess Capital, but unless one of the firsters is a star, he could probably run his C race and win.

Split this with brother. Add in the fee to talk to a live teller, as the automated one couldnt comprehend .50 P4's.

GL all!!

The 2 wasn't going to win...

but John R. didn't do the horse any favors moving to the outside when he had the garden spot rail.

The guy is scared to death.

Meanwhile that's at least the second time Prado has skimmed the rail to victory the last two days.
