Default SAR: Day 9 (Boffo Thursday)

Simply an outstanding day at the windows Thursday as racing resumed and the weather improved as the card unfolded...

Blasted out of the gate once the jumpers were out of the way with the Race 2 exacta ($122.50) and tri boxes ($235.00); 3rd Race exacta ($11.40) and tri boxes ($47.20) and 4th Race straight exacta ($91.50). Won't claim any genius in the 5th as you had to negotiate my suggestion(s). I thought Summer Service was beatable but needed to be covered in exotics/multis. Including him with the top 2 tabs got you the $33.40 exacta and $320.00 tri... Top pick Clear the Way scratched out of the 7th, but the box of the next three yielded a $48.40 exacta, and boxing the quad in the 9th returned everything: $23.60 ex, $73.00 tri, and even the $146.00 super... Not a bad afternoon..

Raining at this hour in the area, and track will be muddy to start but the day should end up OK.. Expect turf to be less than firm depending on when it abates, but I don't think we'll be "O.T.T."...

Here's a quick glance at today's card...
