Default Tampa Tuesday

Not one of Tampa's better Tuesday cards. Start off with an early double MCL 8k's... (1,7/5,9 in case you are playing along....or not.... )

Pick 4

Race 7 - Clm 10000N2L - 8.5f dirt

4 - Jewl's N Roses - Nice comebacker. Tough to win off a long layoff going 7f and this one won going away. Can handle the step up.
1 - Heartaches - Ran evenly in last going shorter. Ran well around two turns last summer at the shore.
5 - Salish - Massive jockey switch almost assures this one to be the chalk.

Race 8 - Alw 20200N1X - 1m 40yds dirt

3 - Too Many Sins - Has to overcome his penchant for finishing second. He may have found the field to do so with.
2 - Supah Soup - Sensational return to Tampa at 18-1 last out. Those odds won't be there today and he'll have to build off that career top.

Race 9 - Md 50000 - 1 mile turf

2 - Sensational View - Not the healthiest animal out there. His nice return turned into another 60 days off. Not a lot to beat here. A duplicate of his return will result in his graduation.
6 - Coffee Cake - Just missed in the Medowlands. This is not really a step up in class from that as the claiming price may seem.
9 - Ocean Prospect - Ronnie Allen will see how far he can go on the front end. A big threat to steal it.

Race 10 - Clm 8000N3L - 7.0f dirt

1 - Berkeley Square - Loves Tampa. Bennett heating up nicely. Federico goes to the front.....
4 - Crimson View - Ness-RAJr.
3 - MVP Grand - Can't quite get there against similar. Normally, I would give up on him, but my gut says not yet.
9 - Tawnimara - Centeno bails from the 3 for this one. Major step up from Yamil may be enough to put this one over the top after two straight placing at this level.

7 - 1,4,5
8 - 2,3
9 - 2,6,9
10 - 1,3,4,9

In honor of the darting, I give you the BBB Ticket...

7 - 4
8 - 2,3
9 - 2,6
10 - 1,3

GL to all playing today.

That "QUISTOPHER" name makes me laugh every time I see it. It's a bit like the name "KELVIM." Sounds like names for 2 sons of a deaf lady. I like the combination of the 2 even more though: "KELVIM-QUISTOPHER"

Wow.

Supah Soup never picked up his feet, I was afraid of that after the huge race off the layoff.

That looked like a rodeo in the stretch.

If Willie Martinez was riding, then I'm not surprised. I've never seen anyone have so much trouble keeping horses straight.
