Have you been to Newport, RI? My absolute favorite non-horsey place! Some really amazing boats out there and they do a lot of tours on schooners. I always thought it would be awesome to sail from there to Florida.
I'd put that on my list...but only if it was August, it's a little to cold now!

I was being polite and letting everyone else go first.

I hate boats ... but, they had these bumper boat things at an amusement park up here ... and I would get on them and go into an absolute rage ... it was emotionally theraputical for me ... but there would always be a bunch of 8yo's crying loudly with tears flowing .. and that and the looks I'd get from the parents when I'd get off the things were kind of a buzzkill.

As for the top 5.....

#1. Cuddling with Hossy's Mom

#2. Gouging Ben Wallace's eyes out

#3. Motorboating Philcski's fiancee

#4. Eating out KyRim again ... which by the way ... to the untrained eye .. looks awfully similar to Gouging Ben Wallace's eyes out. .. Put a blade to that brillo pad baby! Just sayin'

#5. Beating Dala to death with her own keyboard.

Been there for work but no boating, really beautiful. I'm fortunate enough to have a few friends w/boats and you know the only thing better than owning a boat is having friends who do. The guy who took me for a ride on the iceboat the other day is the son of Buddy Melges who won the America's Cup among other things and still lives on Lake Geneva in WI

wow, that is really good company to have! Last summer I was in Newport and there were, what I think are sailing catamarans. It looked like a heck of a lot of work, but serious fun. The two guys were jumping back and forth between the platforms working (for lack of the technical term) the sails and they were picking up some serious speed. Have you ever been on them?
