The Bush-Cheney Legacy
Now that the books are closed on the fourth quarter's performance, it's fair to say that the final three months of 2008 will go down as the worst quarter for the U.S. economy since the 1930s.
In terms of the things that matter most -- output, income, wealth, profits, foreclosures and job growth -- the fourth quarter was a disaster. http://www.marketwatch.com/news/stor...4C37B5C1B21%7D Old boys sure went out with a bang........................ |

Yes the President and VP are 100% responsible for all that. Congress is in Washington strictly for s.hits and giggles.
Dimmy but far left. |

it's so humorous to listen to the Bush bashers with regard to the economy.
i won't defend Bush's economic legacy but i will just point out that Obama is like Bush on steroids. it's three times as much of the same stuff that has already failed. |

One huge difference though. Bush couldnt make up his mind as far as what role the government is supposed to play and that exasperated the situation. At least for Obama, all TWO MONTHS of him, he is very clear about the role of government. Is his way the correct way? Remains to be seen. At least there is clear direction...even if it is straight to hell. Bush was a wolf in sheep's clothing. He was a socialist dressed up as a republican. Government did nothing but Grow during his eight years. |
