no-works firster in the 11th yesterday at MTH (Myprincessallyson) was bet down to 5-1 before drifting back up. Ran an indifferent 5th.

$18,200 for winners share of 1st place. They're ahead.

It doesn't bother me if they cross-fire for the first few strides as long as they straighten it out after a few strides like this filly did. If they cross-fire for the entire workout, then you know there is probably a serious problem. I wouldn't buy a horse for any price that cross-fired the whole workout. I have no idea what some of these buyers are looking at. The Green Monkey cross-fired the whole time. I wouldn't have paid $50,000 for that horse let alone $16 million.
