SAT - Churchill & AP PK4 & Bel feature
Churchill Downs
R8 OC80k/N3X (Turf) #3 Happiness Is #1 Flaming Slew #2 Brushed Gold #5 Queen Stephanie R9 - Alw 50.2k #5 Susies Gal #6 Syriana's Song #3 War Eagle Lady #2 Hand Crafted R10 - G3 Louisville (Turf) #8 Spice Route - Loves distance and should be hand-full again albeit you must swallow the Milk of Magnesia, which never goes down right. #9 Thabazimbi - Shoud be the pace setter and capable of taking them a long way. #6 Why Tonto - Look for him to bounce back after a dull performance on Derby day. #7 Brass Hat - Great to see the Old Guy still at it and should be played underneath. R11 - MSW 48k #3 Buriedbeyondbelief #4 Millennium Lakes #6 Fundy #5 Don Gato PK4 - All (7) / 5 6 / 8 9 / 3 4 = $56 Arlington Park R8 - American 1000 Guineas (Turf) #6 Obsequious - Got caught wide in G3 Appalachian as the luke warm favorite. Ran well at GP this winter. #3 Hot Cha Cha - She was beaten a nose by 50-1 (#8 Afternoon Stroll) shot in the aforementioned G3 Appalachian at KEE. #2 Prytania - Proctor seems fit after back to back wins. #7 Consequence - Returns back to the lawn and makes important 3rd start of the year. R9 - G3 Arlington Matron Handicap #9 Indescribable - Picked up where she left off in her 1st race of the year and looks to defend her crown for new barn. Singleton. #2 Kiss With a Twist - She's in good form winning 3 of last 5. #8 Serenading - Solid, but tough to imagine her turning the tables on top choice. #1 Sky Mom - Look for improvement in 2nd start of the year. R10 - G3 Hanshin #7 Amazing Results - 2 for 2 at AP which includes a dominating performance in last year's Forward Pass on Million Day. #8 Coragil Cat - Defending champ took stakes on opening day. #3 Domincan - Former G1 winner should be much tighter in 2nd start of '09. #1 Stonehouse - Trying to make it 4 in a row, but not a cinch with this group and tough post. R11 - Arlington Classic (Turf) #9 El Crespo - Loved his G3 Palm Beach win at GP over a quality field and connections are finally over derby fever. I look for him to have a solid turf campaign starting with this event. #4 Golden Mexico (Ire) - Beat Affirmitif at KEE in 1st U.S. start at 12.50 to 1. #7 Southern Anthem - Will be overlooked at the windows, but could surprise after beating lesser earlier in the meet. #3 Giant Oak - No doubt he can take this event, but I'm not willing to take the short price versus these. Win #9 PK4 - 2 3 6 7 / 9 / All (8) / 4 9 = $64 Belmont Park R9 - G2 Sheepshead Bay (Turf) #1 Backstreet Rhythm - Rough trip in G2 Jenny Wiley at KEE. She loves the Belmont turf (3 for 3) and if Coa can duplicate that rail skimming ride he displayed in Tampa she's taking her picture over this salty bunch. #3 Criticism (GB) - Versatile runner can adjust to any pace scenario and brings class as well. #4 Shadiyna (Ire) - Closed into pedestrian like fractions in U.S. debut which bodes well for her future. Ex Box 1 / 3 4 Good Racing Luck
