Quick poll on a choice we are never likely to have.

Maybe because people have been paying into if for 30 years + they feel the need to stay in it but it is a lie. I believe it is one of the reasons they need to take over healthcare. People are living too long and expect the SS check.

the other gubment solution will be to roll aka confiscate your 401k and put it into Social Security.

Counter question: why couldn't a Democrat run with this? Isn't this a "pro choice"-like question? Shouldn't be a choice of whether one wishes to participate in this "retirement program"?

How do you want the republican to run with it?

the ages do change

it used to be 62

I don't get to collect at 62. I think it is more like 66 before I could receive the full amount.

correct me if I am wrong but you believe they should keep moving it so those that work will never collect and those that don't work can continue to live off those that do?

Kind of. I believe more than anything else that you should have to prove need and that the minimum age should be pushed back.
