First call to impeach Obama, depending on what he does...

Originally published 12:00 a.m., March 19, 2010, updated 12:35 a.m., March 19, 2010 KUHNER: Impeach the president? Jeffrey T. Kuhner The Democrats are assaulting the very pillars of our democracy. As the debate on Obamacare reaches the long, painful end, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is confronting a political nightmare. She may not have the 216 votes necessary to pass the Senate's health care bill in the House. Hence, Mrs. Pelosi and her congressional Democratic allies are seriously considering using a procedural ruse to circumvent the traditional constitutional process. Led by Rep. Louise M. Slaughter, New York Democrat and chairman of the House Rules Committee, the new plan - called the "Slaughter Solution" - is not to pass the Senate version on an up-or-down vote. Rather, it is to have the House "deem" that the legislation was passed and then have members vote directly on a series of "sidecar" amendments to fix the things it does not like. so one administration endorsed kidnapping, torture, and domestic spying.
while the other might sign a law passed using a house rule more often invoked by republicans than democrats in the past. guess which one supposed small govenment conservatives think should be impeached? conservatives are fun. everything is put in the most extreme language possible and no sense of proportion is tolerated. i think we could actually see their heads explode in anger soon. wheee! |

Where was the sense of proportion shown by Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan, Al Gore "HE BETRAYED THIS COUNTRY! HE PLAYED ON OUR FEARS!!!"...remember any of that? It's the liberals that are the buffoons. They're the ones who can't build anything, but always try to take over what someone else achieved. Want an example? Pick any of the major cities in this country run by Democrats. They're all dying. Detroit, Philly, New York -- hell...forget cities...how about the whole state of California. Your worst nightmare is that the sleeping dragon has woken up to how empty and counterproductive to progress liberalism really is. |

wow. bin laden and crew flew planes into the WTC, Pentegon, and our great country gets to have people like you, who I guess get their panties in a bunch over the rights of terrorists. Why do you care so much about people who want to blow themselves up to kill you and any innocent non-muslim civilian? The only thing you should care about is stopping the terrorists so they dont have the chance to blow you up.

Please tell me what you mean when you say that New York City is "dying". This should be interesting. |

Most notably, the university system in California has gone into shambles because of Arnold. His insane policies of giving furlough days to state workers wasn't exactly bright either. I hate this governor and look forward to the day a Democrat leads this state again. |

I use to live in California for a short time in the beautiful Newport Beach area, but could not wait to get out. It took a few years but I finally escaped. That's the beauty of state's rights. If a state has policies you don't agree with, you can move. That is not possible with federal programs like ObamaCare. States that tried gov run health care found the programs became insolvent over time. How anyone could believe it will work at the national level is beyond me. I guess some folks believe that if you pile bull$hit high enough and deep enough, it ain't bull$hit no more. |

it would be better if there were an up and down vote. which there still might be. but i can't honestly say i'll be "troubled" if there isn't. i don't want to burst your bubble but democrats didn't invent hardball. |
