How does a guy with 5 thousand wins fly so far under the radar of the media. The guy is a gem on the radio and a great ambassador of the game. I realize he did not spend the bulk of his career on major circuits but this guy knows the game and his trade. One of the best choices for a weekly segment is Tony B and the Stand By Me theme song. There must be a great story about you met this guy Steve.

I wanted to drive my car off a cliff after the latest Tony Black segment. Radio is not supposed to be so depressing.

He is indeed a great ambassador for the game. And listening to him, you can tell the guy has a lot going on upstairs - he's smart. His recollection of events is vivid and he precisely articulate what tends to go on during a race, and why. His ideas for ways the sport can change to make it better for the jockeys and the players are right on.

His segments are basically the exact opposite of the Kent D. appearance.

Forgot to mention! Hope some took advantage of the Friday mount Tony told listeners about on Thursday evening...

Shammy the Bull only paid $34.40, $13.60, $7.00.
