Default "Real Dirt Racing" in California

The Pleasanton Fair meet opened today.

Racing on real dirt has a prominent place on the daily program.

My personal wagering must be better on synthetics, I guess. I had an uncharacteristically high five wagers going today.

I hit on one-half of one.

The sun was warm and the beer was cold though.

Still a good day, $$ aside.

I had my first visit to Los Al this spring to get my wager in on The Kentucky Derby while on a family weekend trip to Disneyland.

Somebody should have told me that track was an easy drive from Disneyland years ago...

I don't live too far from there (I live in Turlock).

The problem with Pleasanton...nearly all of those horses are going to have mostly synthetic form.
