I was shocked that Ryan admits they don't have enough football players to fill the roster on Hard Knocks. Sanchez isn't going to last September if either of those 2 start at LG. First 3 games look "challenging"...

Yep. They seem intent on keeping a stable of fullbacks - and their best wideout Santonio Negron Holmes Jr. will be out for the first four games. It really does look like Sanchez will be handing off as much or more than Kyle Boller did when he was a starter with the Ravens a few years ago when Rex Ryan was a defensive coach on that team.

Of course Sanchez will be handing the ball off a lot. That is the type of team the Jets are. They are never going to be a pass first team. They aren't built that way.

Great defense and a solid running game is their gameplan. Sanchez's main responsibility is to not turn the ball over. If he plays like he has in the preseason, it's going to be a long year.

Hoss you think they have enough RB talent to carry them. That terminator kid may end up playing more FB because he appears to be a human battering ram but where's the speed coming from with them?

Greene is the real deal.

I think so. For some reason Shonn Greene has gotten absolutley zero camera time on Hard Knocks but he's their starting RB. He ran for 540 yards last year while splitting time with Jones. He's pretty good and the Jets thought enough of him to get rid of Thomas Jones. If anyone remembers the playoff games last year, he was their go to guy.

By all accounts LT has looked fantastic in preseason. I know it's tough to gauge a whole lot from preseason (unless you are a Pats fan) but he's a pretty solid backup.

How can they not give into Reevis given the horror of the offensive side of the ball. Back up QB didn't seem to be a rocket scientist either. They have to be thinking the defense is where the points are but only if Reevis plays.

In this day and age practically no team has 22 good starters. The Jets have a big question mark at left guard that everybody suddenly knows about now because of a tv show. Okay fine, but every other team in the league has at least one question mark somewhere. I like watching Hard Knocks too, but the idea that someone can figure out how good a team is going to be by watching an edited hour of that team each week is laughable. It is akin to someone using TVG's "Finish Line" show as a handicapping tool.

The Jets should be a playoff contender for sure. I see them as somewhere between 8-8 and 10-6 if they have to play without their CB, and probably between 9-7 and 11-5 with him.

Maybe so ... but you can certainly figure out how bad a teams two left guards are by watching a single episode.

Sanchez after breaking every single huddle on a passing play "C'mon Vlad!" - or - "Let's Go Vlad!" - or "try to not get me killed, Vlad!"

the last place I want to have a hole on my team is on the offensive line. Most important part of a football team. I'd much rather have a shaky linebacker, or reciever, or even QB or RB. Great O-line can make an average QB look good.. and make an average RB look unbelievable.

Eagles biggest question mark is their O-line. injuries, Stacy Andrews sucks, its really shaky. Making me nervous going into the season.
