It is an interesting town, do not make a wrong turn, it gets ugly real quick.

Mark's Feed Store for barbecue. Annie's Paradise Grill for breakfast/brunch. Captain's Quarters for dining on the Ohio River. Jeff Ruby's for steak (expensive). Pat's Steak House. Havana Rumba for awesome Cuban food. Come Back Inn (great local place with good pasta dishes).

Below is a link for Louisville Courier Journal Restaurant Reviews.

Annie's was on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Can't be bad.

Bristol Bar and Grille on Bardstown road. Right in the middle of the bar/club scene. Try the green chile wantons or a Jamaican marinade steak.
It's Lynn's paradise cafe for breakfast/lunch. Baxter Station is also good for lunch and has a nice beer selection.
