No! Don't leave us, Mr. Jarvis!
Michael Jarvis decides to retire from training ranks
By Graham Green 11:55PM 22 FEB 2011 MICHAEL JARVIS, one of Flat racing's longest-serving and most respected trainers, is retiring on health grounds with almost immediate effect. Jarvis, 72, who in recent years has undergone heart surgery and been treated for prostate cancer, plans to hand over the reins at Kremlin House Stables in Newmarket to his assistant, Roger Varian, once the formalities have been completed. http://www.racingpost.com/news/horse-racing/ I am so depressed now. For anyone who doesn't know quite who this is, read even just a part of this and you'll understand. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/g...ls-732452.html |

Surprised for such a distinguished trainer, the only horse I remember him training was Rakti.
