Saw something similar in the 2nd there tonight also. The winner was 9/2 going into the gate and then 2-1 coming out.

Tough to try and get new bettors to the game with that kind of crap. Imagine betting a football game. You bet right before it starts and your bookie gives you a line. Then 2 minutes after the game starts your bookie calls you and tells you to cut the line he gave you in half. How quick would you find another bookie?

I was at the Masters last year, and will never forget Informed Decision's final 1/16th of a mile. At no point did I think she would get up and win the race. This year I'll have to settle for the Thursday night card, as I'll be passing through tomorrow.
