Default Feels like Jan all over again

Uncle Mo and To Honor and Serve have re-emerged as the two best 3-year-olds in the country.

And in other cripple news... Boys At Tosconova is seemingly getting close to a return.

I don't know.

Uncle Mo was always the best 3yo. I'm not sure I'd put THAS as top 2 either.

Well -- considering the first and second place finishers in the Shaefer Mile at Hoosier today would both get Beyers of 140 with no human involvement in the figure making process ... I think we now know who the 8 best horses in America are right now.

Uncle Mo's will be very fast obviously -- but I haven't got to Belmont's yet.

I'm actually pretty annoyed about the messed up timing of that stupid HOO race.

Even if the 1:22.40 for 7f's is right and the timing error happened in the 10.60 final furlong ... that would mean the top two ran pretty god damn strong .. and both of them have run the best race of their life going a one-turn mile at CD.

Did you see the fifth at Hoo? I think Invisible Ink got his first stakes winner!

I'm so cold right now, I don't doubt that it is January. Wind chill's pretty nasty. Time to bust out the heavy coats.
