Was that a 103 for the first-time starter with a bug-boy aboard - Fair Grounds 8th on 2/3? Didn't see mention of it anywhere....

Yes.

Horse is by Lion Heart out of a Carson City and has no chance of routing. That's not a development pedigree either.

The 3rd place finisher -- albeit drowned in that race -- was an Al Stall debuter by Awesome Again that is a half sibling to Flatter (sire of '11 BC Classic beaten favorite Flat Out) and Congrats (sire of '11 BC Filly and Mare Sprint beaten favorite Turbulent Descent)
