Gov. Scott Walker acknowledged Monday that prosecutors initiated the upcoming meeting they will have with him as part of the John Doe investigation about activities that occurred during Walker's tenure as Milwaukee County executive.

Walker announced last week that he had hired two criminal defense attorneys and would be voluntarily meeting with District Attorney John Chisholm regarding the John Doe probe.

Prosecutors have charged four ex-Walker aides and appointees with various crimes, including theft and misconduct in office.

Just those who worry if elected officials, the highest officers of a state, are engaged in illegal activity. Not you, huh?

How many years should these guys get? What kind of fine? Since you’re on record stating a fine of $1,200 per/day for overgrown weeds is just, we must be talking decades of time and hundreds of thousands if not millions in fines.

Your fixation with petty accusations in a State you don’t live in seems to serve as an opiate for your ongoing, hypocritical, tightrope act. Like cheering Obama’s bailout of Bank of America and a short time later supporting OWS condemnation of Bank of America. Let me guess you’re no longer anti-Super PACs, or still anti-PAC, but just when they involve Republicans.

Until you change from preferences and feelings to morals and principles as determining factors when engaged in political choice you will continue to balance on the tightrope of hypocrisy as preferences and feelings change all too often.

Be forewarned though as subjective moral truths are universal and cannot be culturally or socially excused or ignored. That may be too big of a hurdle for you to jump, titanium knee and all.

On second thought it’s probably easier for you to stay up on the tightrope and hope you don’t fall. Meanwhile I’ll sit back and continue enjoying the circus.

Carry on.

Default Former aide to Walker pleads guilty to two felonies

Its a sorry state when citizens try to dismiss and justify the commission of felonies by the office of their elected officials.

Former aide to Walker pleads guilty in John Doe investigation
Updated Wednesday, February 8, 2012 12:09:11 a.m.

A former county-level staffer for Gov. Scott Walker pleaded guilty to two felony charges on Tuesday as the ongoing 20-month investigation into Walker’s former campaign staff continues.

Darlene Wink, a former Milwaukee County employee under Walker’s tenure as Milwaukee County Executive, entered a guilty plea for two felony charges of soliciting political contributions while working in [Walker's] county office, her attorney, Peter Wolff, said.

As part of the plea, the District Attorney John Chisholm’s office will not recommend jail time in its charges, as long as Wink continues to cooperate in the other ongoing John Doe investigations, Wolff said
