Default Davy Jones of The Monkees-RIP

Died of an apparent heart attack at age 66. I grew up watching the show. At one time knew almost all the lyrics of their songs.

Very sad..

Big piece just last week about Jones taking care of an 85yo trainer that got him his start as a 'lad'.

Default RIP, Davy Jones of the Monkees

They're dropping like flies, and many of them younger than me.

That's sad, he was young. I always liked him best out of the Monkees as a kid, because of the ex-jockey thing.

Default Jock who rocked

one of the most glaring omissions from the rock and roll hall of fame is The Monkees. Listening to people try to sing Karaoke on Monkees tunes is worse than hearing them try to sing the Righteous Bros. Underrated singers, the pioneer of music videos. The monkees is must see TV for all children. Davy Jones was the spoon that stirred the Monkess. Rest in Peace Davy.
