In between these two days, you had the return of Haskell winner Coil today. He looked pretty good today and won with ease. At least I thought so.

Nothing but respect for Neil Drysdale as a trainer, but this is an interesting spot for Fly Nexis Fly's first US race.

DrugS?

I have no clue how he's going to run off that long layoff and in this country for the first time -- and trying 12 furlongs off the layoff no less.

Here are the workout reports for him:

Quote:

Jul 21st, 2012
Santa Anita
Finish: 1:14s - Stalked here for the first 5 furlongs of this team drill with stablemate MISS MALIBU then made a run down the lane to catch the workmate and finish in front. Much the best here.

Jul 8th, 2012

Finish: 1:15s - On the grindy side today when unable to push on by Allowance type Fire with Fire. Wanted more.

Jul 3rd, 2012

Finish: 1:29.2s - Fitness builder was in company with Town Belle. Broke two back finished two in front. Nothing flashy. Pressured late.
Your guess is as good as mine.
