Default Baltimore Airport

I have to take an emergency flight out of Baltimore tomorrow around 10:30 a.m. -- anyone have any suggestion on whether I would be better off taking 301 or 95 from Richmond? (Shut up Clyde!)

Can you quickly get in and through the airport there?

Thanks!

95 to 295 (Balt-Wash Pkwy) to Hanover (BWI). Very easy in. Airport minutes off 295.

Thanks, I'm guessing I can expect longer lines/waits etc. than Albany and Richmond? There is a lot to be said for living near a small, but fairly efficient airport! BWI had better service with Logan on a short notice though. It's been a really stressful day so I'm trying to iron out all of the details for tomorrow...

I would take 301 eight days a week, especially considering your flight time and what time you will be leaving Richmond.

95 is no picnic for sure. Either way, good luck. 301 tends to be less congested, but the red lights can be tedious.

I count only one apparent seasoned Baltimore Airport Vet in the group.

Disappointing.

CLYDE?????????????

My daughter is a seasoned Baltimore Airport Vet but she takes the train from D.C. to Baltimore. I'm pretty sure the train does not go up 95 or 301.

If you are flying AA make sure the seats are nailed down..

American Airlines mechanics will fix floor mounts in 48 of its 757s to prevent seats from coming loose, the airline said Thursday.

Engineers figured out "additional preventative steps" to upgrade the mechanism that locks the seats to the floor, an American Airlines news release said.

The carrier said 50 Thursday flights were canceled and 44 on Friday would likely be scrubbed because of the work, which is scheduled to be finished by Saturday.
