Lost in the excitement of the diva approaching her 24th win (well to some but not all) is the continuing, heartbreaking saga of champion Good Ba Ba who, thanks to Mr. Hore-Lacy and Mr. Yuen, continues to be run into the ground.
Mr. Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges of the HKJC will, I'm sure, pen another scarthing piece on these two rotten excuses for members of the human race and include yet another plea for the immediate re-retirement of the beloved Hong Kong legend. There is nothing like watching a race horse amass millions and finally, thankfully, be retired upon losing a step only to have that life of luxury snatched away because hey... maybe he can top off the pockets of said connections. Makes me sick. Good luck, beautiful girl, and come home safe Ba Ba. |

Yeah the owner is pretty nutty too.
Spent a lot of time firing people and moving Good Ba Ba around (reason given was usually the same one... "feng shui issues"). Quite a pair. |

Doubt many are awake right now, but if any are and care to watch the race it goes off in 20 minutes.

Moonee Valley is packed! It reminds me of days from long ago when the some of the greats would run. Says 25k, but it looks like a lot more
