![]() You are most likely right, however the race tracks don't want to do something about the perception. The hose pops the gate and opens up an easy lead, the horse is 4/5 for 1/4 mile then odds change to 1/5. Another race in question and brought up by Roger Stein on his show was the 1st race at Santa Anita on May 3rd.
